How is Tarkett luxury vinyl tile made?
On top of a layer of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) at the core, Tarkett LVT has a printed design layer that can replicate almost any other material (i.e. wood, stone, marble, ceramic, etc.).
Tarkett LVT floors are treated with a special polyurethane (PUR) treatment. While this provides extra protection and makes them highly resistant to scratches and stains, they also have a transparent wear layer that ensures maximum durability. Thicker wear layer options are typically the most durable.
