The fitters who came to fit the carpets were excellent. The service included the removal and disposal of old carpets and flooring. New carpets were fitted without hassle and the guys are just great! Super friendly and didn’t mind the dog trying to get in on the action.

Do you offer free home consultations or in-store appointments?
Yes — you’re welcome to visit any of our three showrooms (Netherfield, Wollaton or Duffield) without an appointment. We can also arrange free home visits across Nottingham, Derby and the surrounding areas, where we bring samples directly to you so you can see them in your own light.
How long does it take to fit a new carpet?
Most domestic carpet fits are completed in a single day, sometimes two if you’re recarpeting an entire house. We’ll give you an accurate timescale during your free quote, based on the rooms involved and the type of flooring.
Do you supply and fit flooring for landlords and commercial projects?
Yes — we work with private landlords, HMO operators, care homes, schools, offices and contractors across the East Midlands. We can quote for single properties or full portfolios, and our employed fitting team means consistent quality and reliable scheduling.
What's the difference between LVT, laminate and Karndean?
Karndean is a brand of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) — so the two overlap. LVT is a vinyl-based flooring that mimics wood or stone with exceptional realism and water resistance. Laminate is a different product entirely: a wood-fibre core with a printed image layer, generally less water-resistant but often more affordable. We stock all three and can walk you through which suits your space.
Are your fitters employed or subcontracted?
All our fitters are employed by Carpet Style, not subcontracted. This is a deliberate choice — it means consistent quality, accountability for the work, and a long-term relationship with the team. Many of our fitters have been with us for years.
